Maria has had an extensive and varied music career singing across Canada, the Caribbean and as far away as Japan; in bars, to nightclubs cabarets, and cruise ships.
After years of honing her craft in Toronto performing at the Royal York Hotel, Berlin Nightclub, the Blue Note, and various other venues, Maria took time to write and record her first solo album CD “Shadows”. The video to this title track “Shadows” has been featured on MuchMusic’s ~ ‘Cliptrip’. Also her ballad “How Am I Gonna Find You” received continuous airplay on stations like CHUM RADIO (Toronto), K-LITE (Burlington), and many more…
A change in scenery to Vancouver, British Columbia allowed her to delight more audiences with her powerful stage presence and provocative and passionate voice as she performed on Cruise Ships (Seaborne Cruises, Carnival, Holland America) through the Caribbean, West Coast USA and up to Alaska.
Maria has written two theme songs for two Canadian feature films currently in production and is now focusing her time on writing and recording her second CD.
